Tom Fereday for Louis Vuitton

This week, I was very pleased to learn that the Louis Vuitton Paris & Hong Kong teams have commissioned Sydney based designer Tom Fereday to create a series of bespoke furniture pieces for their new Westfield Bondi Junction store.

After three months of development, working in collaboration with the brand, Tom has created a series of custom tables, chairs, side tables, armchair and day bed in Kvadrat Maharam fabrics including Maharams new leather collection.

Featuring solid ash, walnut and Victorian Blackwood detailing. All the pieces were uniquely designed for the store with the seating customised from Tom’s existing collections and Focusing on quality, natural materials, and longevity.

Tom worked with creative director of LOCAL DESIGN, Emma Elizabeth to style and direct the scenography to showcase these new works through the lens of photographer Fiona Susanto. Through creative ESP and the use of polycarbonate sheeting, the creative crew almost mimiced the new Louis Vuitton store facade.
