Piasa Design Auction - Brussels June 2021

Later this month, the Parisian auction house will organise a new design sale at the Patinoire Royale in Brussels. A solid selection with a great palette of designers from France, Brazil, Italy, Finland and more.

On Wednesday, June 23rd, Piasa Auction House hosts in Brussels a design event with 282 lots. The selection is very interesting by its diversity and choice of designers that are not so often under limelights.

The catalogue is available here.

I am pleased to notice the presence of great designers like Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, Christian Astuguevieille, Pierre Chapo from France; Scandinavian creators like Curt-Magnus Addin, Hans Agne Jakobsson, Mogens Koch, Børge Mogensen alongside their peers from Finland with Ilmari Tapiovaara. Brazil is also represented with the Campana Brothers and Jorge Zalszupin beside the traditional stars from Italy.

I chose 22 pieces that I liked from the selection with various bidding prices to, hopefully, give everyone the chance to purchase a rare design icon. The selection is made independently from any commercial ties.
